Newminster Cottage - Terms and Conditions
Payment and stay
- Where no advance reservation has been made payment may be requested in advance
- Payment is due on departure, less any deposit that may have been paid
- In the case of long stay guests payment is due on Friday of each week
- Payment can be made in cash, cheque payable to ‘Newminster Cottage’ debit or credit card
- We reserve the right to refuse admission
- Damage however caused will be charged in full
- Lost keys will be charged at £150.00 (to cover the cost of replacement locks)
- Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the premises
- Check-in-time – between 4pm and 9pm, though, there is some leeway on an early arrival but nothing beyond 9pm.
- Check-out-time – rooms must be vacated by 10:30am sharp on the day of departure.
- Any food intolerances to be notified in advance.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your booking with 48 hours notice no charge will be made to your credit or debit card
- Cancellations without 48 hours notice will incur a charge for a single night’s accommodation, as reserved, which will be charged to your debit/credit card
- If a deposit has been paid it will be forfeited
Registration
You are required by law to register with us. Forms can be found in our dinning room for completion on arrival. The following information must be included:
- Full name
- Permanent address in full including post code
- Permanent & mobile telephone number
- Vehicle registration number if applicable
- Passport number for overseas visitors
- Next destination (overseas visitors only)

Open all year round. Hours are flexible to business, Newminster Cottage is our home so is occupied 24 hours
